The Building Consultancy Department have been appointed to act as Building Owner Surveyor, in respect of a large roof development due to take place on a large mix residential, restaurant and retail building located in town centre position. In accordance with the Party Wall Etc. Act 1996, Notice was served on all 16 Adjoining Owners.
The appointment of Sibbett Gregory aided the facilitation of the works and empowered the developer specific rights available to him under the Act to complete the project. A complex series of negotiations took place to satisfy funders and client alike. As part of this role, Jon Holt was also appointed as CDM Coordinator for the works. The Building Consultancy Department have an excellent field of knowledge on the Party wall Act and would be pleased to offer their experience for any developer or client whose development may invoke the Act.
