The informal response acknowledges the property as “previously developed” and refers to national planning policy framework. We are advised that residential re-development would not be permitted in view of proximity to protected heathland.
The property has access from the A31 Ferndown by-pass via Forest Links Road and Ameysford Road. We understand that both Forest Links Road and Ameysford Road are adopted public highways.
The Ferndown Police Site is currently assessed as a whole with a rateable value of £422,500.
The southern section will be subject to assessment of a new rateable value.
DIVISION OF SITE
