Two industrial units in Poole were agreed to be sold within 48 hours of coming onto the market

Two industrial units in Poole were agreed to be sold within 48 hours of coming onto the market, report Commercial Property Agents Sibbett Gregory. It follows a period of consistent demand for small industrial freehold units.

One of the units – at 4, Sovereign Business Park in Willis Way - was snapped up by Laser Crystal - the UK's leading manufacturer of 3D engraved crystal products. Measuring 3,393 square feet, the unit was sold for around the asking price of £235,000. Director of Laser Crystal, Andrea Hatcher, explained how the business had outgrown its premises in Ferndown and she therefore had jumped at the chance to not only move to a larger property but also to invest in freehold business space. “We made the decision it would make good business sense to purchase our own freehold premises,” she said. “Freehold property in Poole is very rare and we had been searching for nine months, “Our new premises at Sovereign Business Park fitted the bill perfectly, and is in a good, easily accessible position. We found Sibbett Gregory to be very efficient and professional at bringing the whole deal together.”

Jason Watts of Sibbett Gregory said: “We were very pleased to assist a growing local business in their expansion.  It is particularly satisfying when a property ticks all the right boxes for an occupier and we wish Laser Crystal the best of success in their new property.”

Another Poole industrial premises which went within 48 hours was 19 Slader Business Park in Witney Road which measures 1,760 square feet. It was purchased by property investment specialists TJL and is now the company’s third unit on the estate. Tim Longthorpe of TJL said: “We bought the business unit as part of an ongoing property portfolio, and favour Slader Business Park because it is modern, up-together, and attracts the right type of tenant.” He added: “We value our relationship with Sibbett Gregory and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else in a similar position.”

Jason Watts said: “Two units under offer within 48 hours is a great result, highlighting the demand from local occupiers.
